Mi-28N Night Hunter Helicopter in action
Russians could have done with one of Mi-28Ns in their armor, especially against the mujahideens. But that’s done and dusted. Now the “Night Hunter” helicopter has been equipped with a fully armored cabin, courtesy Mil Moscow Helicopter Plant.

The helicopter runs on two TV3-117VMA turboshaft engines. Mi-28N has also been fitted with energy absorbing landing gear, anti-tank missiles, FLIR (Forward Looking Infrared), and other modern warfare equipments. The end of Cold War rendered specialized anti-tank helicopters useless. The advantages of the Mi-28N, like all-weather action ability, lower cost, have therefore become important.
Check out the video of this helicopter in action and pray
that you never see one hovering over your roof top.
