With more and more technological development it has become mandatory to discover new techniques for fast data writing. Silverbrook Research has developed a new technology named as Memjet technology that promises lightning fast printing at a speed of 60 pages per minute.
The device uses a series of 20mm wide printheads joined together to form massive, page width printheads to enable lightning-fast print speeds. Each printhead is controlled by a specialized chip capable of calculating an astounding 900 million dots per second of data this enables the desktop inkjet printer to print 8.5″ x 11″ black-and-white documents at 60 pages per minute, and 4×6 full color prints at 30 pages per minute.
The expected price of business-class Memjet printers is under $300 and will be cheaper in case of Consumables. This type of development will revolutionize the printing industry. I think this is the best printing solution.
