While iPad is enjoying its supremacy as the tablet king, Meizu plans to very subtly share that control with its iPad clone. You may take this as hoax, but it’s been made official by the company’s own CEO Jack Wong, who’s detailed that Meizu is doing its own iPad like device (iPad clone) in the mBook, this follows the M8 – an iPhone clone from the company.

For the difference from iPad, the mBook will be 8.4-inches in size, which is slightly smaller than the iPad, but will be good to play videos in 1080p and would feature HDMI out along with 12 hours of battery life. For similarities with the iPad, the mBook will have the same 1024x768 capacitive touchscreen with all the features of the iPad 3G. To be fitted in with a 1.5GHz processor, the mBook will have GPS and high quality music playback capability. There’s no word on what price it would sell for or when it would be available.
