MIT’s latest sub, the Odyssey IV, is the newest in the Odyssey series. The Odyssey series contains artificially intelligent submarines that can take photos and samples from the ocean.
What’s Innovative: Unlike the rest of the Odyssey series, the Odyssey IV can hover over a location and still take samples and photos without sinking.
Watch This: This will make ocean exploring easier and more effective for scientists, unlike older submarines. It is new and will save them a lot of time and money in the long run.
