I’m not a great fan of machine-assisted warfare and I don’t even have the needed caliber to differentiate between any of these technologically advanced, war-monging robots. But as soon as I saw these crazy pictures of ‘FasTac’, I developed a soft corner for this intelligent robot.
The FasTac is the latest Multi-Mission Tactical Mobile Robot from iRobot. The FasTac is on its way to become the first-ever ground robot to be included in the Army’s $286 million ‘unmanned surge’.
Anyway, it seems iRobot engineer John Souliere has configured this machine to perform some crazy stunts as well. The images remind me of the old ‘Doraemon’ episode where Nobita longs for a pet and Doraemon acknowledges by creating a ‘vacuum cleaner’ pet for him.
