Maya A7B is a new MP4 player that boasts of being the first one with Swiss RK27 core. It is not one of those best looking PMPs out there but isn’t that bad either. Besides Swiss RK27 Core, it features a 3.5” screen, Microsoft PLAYFX sound, support for APE, FLAC, MP3, WMA, RA, ACC, OGG audio formats and RMVB / RM, AVI, WMV and MPEG-4 video formats. If you don’t have any idea about the RK27 core, then let me tell you that it is a genuine dual-core with independent video DSP core and the ARM core that supports FLAC, MP3, WMA, RA, ACC, OGG and other mainstream document formats. It is bound to give major performance boost in video performance when using AVI, RMVB and other direct broadcast formats. Maya A7B’s miniOS core also allows songs to be searched by artists and album or by user created playlists.
