Matrox Graphics Extio F1400, the world’s first remote graphics unit, is devised to enhance the gap between the use of a system and its administration enhancing reliability and image quality. Under this system, the user interface of the computer is connected from the rest of the part with a 250 meters fiber-optic wire. With Matrox Graphics Extio F1400 audio and broadcast studios and control rooms can control up to up to 4 digital or analog monitors at a time. The unit is packed with a graphics chip especially designed by Matrox, 128 MB of graphics memory, 4 DVI-I monitor connectors, 6 USB 2.0 ports, dual-LC fiber-optic cable connector, digital and analog audio connectors and also PCI or PCI Express (PCIe) fiber-optic interface cards for Extio products.
