With such a scenario in place, its expedient to the companies concerned to keep track of the technological developments, changing markets and tastes. When they can’t, they will have to change the target audience for their product, if they still aim to be in business. If you guys have been gaming for a while, you would remember Matrox, who posed a stiff competition in the graphics card market. And now people usually use more than a single computer. After having disappeared for a while, unable to meet NVIDIA/ATI, Matrox is again in news. However, their new cards are not meant for multi-screen gaming but for basic support for multi desktop environment. The cards are however, priced quite high and are targeted at high-end users.
