Martin Skyhook jetpack to fill the niche in the military arsenal

The age of robotic jetpacks has become a reality with Martin Skyhook UAV. The unmanned version of Martin's jetpack would fill a niche in the military arsenal and assist in battlefield monitoring besides scanning a war zone for improvised explosive device. Boasting same specifications as the manned version the Skyhook can reach a height of up to 10,000 feet or more, and lift loads of up to 100 kilograms while taking off and landing vertically.

Powered by a 200 hp engine the jetpack has a range of 31 miles and attains a maximum speed of 63 mph and runs on ordinary gasoline, not jet or rocket fuel. The company is currently on the lookout for investors to start field trials for commercial applications to get the first aircraft to the market.
