MARK bookmark - night time the right time to read

Silence is bliss for people fond of reading. With no disturbance its amazing how quickly you can go through the pages of you favorite volume. Unfortunately, quality silence is only available during night and for a number of reasons it's not possible to enjoy a good read during that time. For one there's no light (like you didn't know this!). Turning the light on means disturbing those who are already asleep.

A new age solution might just save several from any such predicament. The MARK bookmark is revolutionary high-tech bookmark that glows in dark. And the intensity of that glow is enough to illuminate book's pages. This would mean a lot to both the reader and the one who is sharing the same room.

MARK won the Red Dot Award for best design concept in 2007, and it is not difficult to see why. The bookmark is a normal one during the day, but at night it lights your way across the pages. It makes use of FOLED (flexible organic light emitting diodes) technology that has an adjustable intensity level. As of now it is a concept but I hope to see it in stores sooner than later.
