Man invents Speaks4Me to allow his autistic child communicate

We’ve seen special kind of devices and aids for the differently abled, but this, Speaks4Me is one of a kind and probably the only real electronic communication system for the autistic. Developed by Stephen Lodge for his eleven-year-old son Callum Lodge, an autistic with learning and speaking disabilities, the Speaks4Me is a device which assists Callum to communicate his need and thoughts with others. The Speaks4Me system that’s compatible with any device that can run the Windows XP, Vista and Windows 7, lets the user to simply drag and drop images from the main menu to the sentence strip and then press Speak to speak the words as single or uncomplicated structured sentences.
