Panasonic displayed a mammoth 150-inch plasma display at the Consumer Electronics Show on Monday, which is, of course, the largest in the world. Watching movies, football match or anything on big screen at home is sure sounds cool. Unfortunately, you will have to wait to buy one. It hopes to get available in showrooms till 2009. However, it was one the coolest presentation of the day, which made it the center of attraction for while. Panasonic President Toshihiro Sakamoto describing it, says,
It’s capable of an amazing picture that is four times the resolution of our current full HD plasma displays. It gives new meaning to the words reality TV.
Panasonic seems to stick firmly to its commitment for delivering HD flat screens and plasma displays as soon as possible. On a resolution of 2160 x 4096, initially it may become a little harder for eyes to adjust, but soon one will find it a smoother experience.
