Apple unveils its first Intel-powered notebook, the MacBook Pro. MacBook is powered by an Intel Core Duo processor at either 1.67 or 1.83GHz, 512MB - 2GB RAM, an 80GB or 100GB 5400rpm HDD, iSight camera, FrontRow - Apple’s home theater interface, FireWire 400, iLife ‘06, two USB 2.0 ports, ExpressCard/34, MagSafe power, 802.11g (AirPort Extreme), Bluetooth 2.0 EDR, gigabit Ethernet, backlit keyboard, Apple remote input, 15.4-inch 1440 x 900 display, ATI Mobility Radeon X1600 with either 128 or 256MB of RAM and dual-link DVI (for 30-inchers), dual-layer DVD burner, Airport Extreme Wi-Fi connectivity and 4x Superdrive.



Only an inch thick MacBook weighs 5.6 pounds and run Windows...WOW.



Price: Between $2,000 and $2500



Dual-Core Intel iMac

The new desktops iMac are embedded with the Intel Core Duo processor and Mac OS 10.4.4. They feature the same 17- and 20-inch displays. The price tags are the same as that of iMac G5, $1,299 and $1,699.
