OSD or One Stop displays has introduced a low-cost TFT LCDs for hand held users and for industrial applications. According to the company OSD035STED7 is a 3.5-inch transflective (10% reflective) QVGA TFT with white LED backlight and integrated resistive touchscreen.
The low temperature poly-silicon (LTPS) process used offers better electron mobility and allows display to offer lower power consumption, higher pixel density and greater pixel aperture ratios than conventional high temperature a-Si TFT displays.
The white LED backlight delivers enhanced brightness control as well as better color fidelity. It has an 18-bit RGB interface and can support 262,000 colors.
