Logitech finally surfaces iOS version of Squeezebox Controller App

Logitech finally unveils iOS version of its Squeezebox Controller App. The app will work on all key iDevices like iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch. It means that iDevice owning Logitech Squeezebox player users can now control the entire music system with their handsets. Indeed, the Squeezebox Controller App Logitech introduced for Google Android based smartphones a month back has drawn in large attention. Since then, users have been asking for iOS version of the controller app.

Dan Caccamo, Logitech’s senior manager of digital music & streaming media writes in the company’s official blog that users’ anticipation for iOS version of Squeezebox Controller App has ended. “When we launched our Logitech Squeezebox Controller App for Android last month, many customers asked “where is the iOS version?” Well, I’m happy to say that it’s here!” Mr. Caccamo goes on.

Logitech’s iOS Squeezebox Controller App is indeed available for free download on Apple App Store. The app works on your home Wi-Fi to control Squeezebox players. You can see all options and menus of Squeezebox players on the iDevices’ smart screen once the app is opened. Interestingly, the app can be used to control a multiple number of Logitech Squeezebox players from any room of your home thanks to Wi-Fi connectivity.
