Designed by US researchers at the University of Arizona, the glasses are packed with liquid crystals in between layers that change their optical properties with the help of electrodes. Still the liquid crystal glasses demand lot of more insight because the current lenses are too heavy and hence require thick frames. Anyway, the innovative idea will soon melt down the hassles of shifting gaze up and down and now able to use the whole lens area.
