Linksys DMA2200, 2100 Extender to hit market this November
Microsoft made a number of Windows Media Center-related announcements, among which, its DMA2200 and DMA2100 gained attention in media extenders line up.

Linksys Media Center Extender this time has lot to make it smooth to access premium cable and HDTV and support popular video codecs such as DIVX, XVID and WMV wherever you want without creating an ugly scene around your TV by putting an awesome box nearby.
With just a little difference, DMA2200 will give you an advantage of built-in upscaling DVD player over DMA2100.
For sure good enough, it will stream down wirelessly your photos, videos, music, digital content and Internet services from your Microsoft Windows Vista Premium or Ultimate Media Center PC to your home entertainment device. E.g., listen music on your home theater by accessing media center or watch your downloads on TV screens.
For more sophistication and ease, its navigation is set to a single learning remote.
DMA2100 offers dual-band Wireless-N technology with dual-band 802.11N WiFi, HD-compatible digital and optical outputs and all other necessary services to access media center for $300, whereas, DMA2200 offers it with a sound capability of a built-in DVD player for a price of $350.
Among D-Link, Niveus, HP and Beta, which launched a new Internet TV, DMA extenders will join the market in November.
