Now to run the LinkStation, be prepared to have a monstrous RAM around. The LinkStation Mini can be easily carried anywhere due to its small size which makes it possible for you to set up a data storage server anywhere. Two 5400rpm, 500 GB drives run in tandem to give the LinkStation its 1 TB storage space. The LinkStation can be configured in either RAID-0 or RAID-1. This server can be connected to the network from a wireless network or through a patch cable. The LinkStation Mini sells for $700, a small price for its immense mobility and functionality.
