Light Colours to Soothe Ystrad Mynach Prisoners

Basing their innovation on the psychological effects of colour Gwent Police are adding colours to their Ystrad Mynach prision. The new station has 31 cells skilfully designed : 4 have glass doors and yellow frames to pacify claustrophobic inmates and 12 cells have 'live scan' fitted for the drunken or mentally disturbed prisoners which warns the officers with the sound of an alarm in case emergency arises. All the other cells have their share too; it is all treated with a royal blue line intended to encourage truthfulness and in turn foster better co-operation with the authorities.
