jawa lunk life size wall e

Wall-E is a rage among DIY robot fanatics and although this needs no proving, there is group of 3000 members that have together discussed the making of a life-size Wall-E robot. Lead by Jawa Lunk (he needs no introduction) this Wall-E iteration will be on display at the Maker Faire, which is festival of DIY arts. Needless to say, this Wall-E is a star even before being showcased. Jawa created the eyes using a rounded aluminum sheet that entails two LED flashlights.

PVC tubes cut out of the sink drain were used to create the arms. Indeed, Jawa used PVC tubes of two different measurements inserting one into the other to facilitate movement of the arms. Another member of the group suggested that the yellow #120 from Walmart’s Color Place Brand was the ideal color to match the original. I must say, this group portrays some level of fanaticism for a robot, doesn’t it?
