LG’s Dual View television provides full screen view in multiplayer games

For all the gamers, LG has come up with a new ‘Dual View’ television, which makes playing multiplayer games more enjoyable. Unlike previously when two players playing against each other on the same system would see split screens, here the players competing together can see different images on the same screen, that by simply wearing special 3D-style glasses, which let the players see separate pictures on the same screen. Compatible only with Xbox for now, the transition of 2D to 3D can now be seen in the gaming world with this Dual View television.

$32 a pair, 3D glasses and the Dual View television will actually change the traditional method of playing multiplayer games as players will no more have to stare down split screens. In ‘Dual View’ one player wears a set of 3D glasses with 2 left eye lenses and the other player wears a set of glasses with two right eye lenses, which assists each player to see 2D version of only his side of the screen. According to an LG spokeswoman, glasses will be available with LW980 television which will be shipped by end of this month, she added that the new technology can work with any of its Cinema 3D Television. The Dual View televisions will be a must have for all avid gamers who fancy dual player games, as they will here be provided with a full screen view of the game as if they were playing alone.
