LG-V9000 3G TDMB phone launched in Europe

Considered as the world's first 3G TDMB (Terrestrial Digital Multimedia Broadcasting) phone, the LG-V9000 first surfaced in March and is finally launched in Europe. LG Electronics handed over 400 LG-V9000 handsets to BLM (Bavarian Regulatory Authority for Commercial Broadcasting) at the 'TDMB World Cup Trial Service Conference', in Munich, Germany.

The LG-V9000 mobile TV phone will deliver FIFA World Cup matches on the go. The ultimate entertainment tool supports GSM (2G), GPRS (2.5G), UMTS(WCDMA) (3G) and TDMB, delivering high-quality video footage on its 2.2-inch wide-swing high-resolution LCD embellished with 3D surround sound system. The handset allows users to record one hour and watch three hours of live TV programs.
