LG to deliver Android-powered tablets by the end of this year

LG has teased our senses yet again by announcing three android phones, which are Optimus Z, Optimus One and Optimus Chic. This is news, but the bigger news is that with the announcement of these phones, LG has promised an Android based tablet by the fourth quarter of this year. Using Google’s open source operating system, no details on pricing or technicalities have been dished out so far. It is also not clear, whether this tablet will compete with UX10, a Windows 7-based tablet, previewed at Computex 2010 or not. With this LG has marked its foray into Android era and it is a part of an upcoming line, composing of 10 smart devices and smartphones.
