While almost every manufacturer enticed us with the fanciest of e-ink display readers they could manage at the recently concluded CES 2010, LG today released an e-ink displays that’s big daddy to all we’ve seen. Measuring 19-inch in width, the LG’s e-paper is almost the size of an A3 size newspaper. The flexible e-paper is 0.3 millimeters thin and 130 grams in weight and is formed by a layer of TFT placed on a metal foil instead of the glass substrate, as it is routinely done. This make gives the e-paper its flexible form and durable nature.

CTO and executive VP of LG Display, In Jae Chung said:
Our development of the world's largest flexible display has opened up a new market in the next-generation display sector of e-paper.
