Here’s time for another world’s first and it’s from LG in form of the LX9500 that’s touted to be the world’s first Full LED 3D TV. Announced in Korea with a May release date, the 55-inch TV comes included with an innovative backlight and 1,200 bright LEDs which enhance picture quality and on-screen brightness to provide that unparalleled 3D view. The Full LED 3D TV, LX9500 with its slim and sleek INFINIA design, further boasts a 10,000,000:1 dynamic contrast ratio with 400Hz (480Hz) TruMotion and Multi Picture Format support. The required 3D glasses may be a put off, but it is argued that the glasses are comfortable enough to wear for extended usage and are USB rechargeable with up to 40 hours of backup. With the introduction of 47- and 55-inch versions of the Full LED 3D TV, LG has certainly upped the tempo for 3D home entertainment.
