We aren’t new to multimedia hard drives, but the best introduction shouldn’t escape the eyes of the enthusiasts, thus it is fitting to feature the XF1, LG’s first multimedia hard drive here. Stuffing 500GB storage capacity within a 20.8mm thick hard drive, the LG XF1 features touch sensitive buttons for easy navigation and HDMI output to directly transfer content to HD TVs in 1080i. Also housing a AV and a USB jack, the drives capable of playing MPEG-2, DivX and Mpeg-4 files in HD will make good contenders for the takers. There isn’t a word on price or availability, but we can guess it to be high.
