LG-KG800 Chocolate Phone soon on Europe's platter

It's official. The LG Chocolate phone (LG-KG800) will hit Europe from May 3rd, 2006. The phone will be designed in a bit different way as compared to one launched in Korea, to suit European market. With 300,000 handheld sold out the chocolate phone is showing no signs of melting owing to its touch-sensitive 'red hot' keypad controls and "hidden" LCD screen. The GSM tri-band handset also features a 1.3-megapixel camera and a 240 x 320 color screen.

First launched in November and capturing over 7% of the South Korean market, LG is hoping to repeat the same success.
