Lexmark rolls out T656dne, first touchscreen laser printer
Touchscreen interface has been finding a slot for itself just everywhere and in almost everything. Latest to flaunt the merits of touchscreen is the industry’s first touchscreen embedded monochrome laser printer from Lexmark. Named the T656dne, it features a 7-inch color LCD, along with options to set language and background.

The touchscreen printer with a built-in 80GB hard drive makes provision for user friendly applications such as the eco-settings to save energy besides form and favorites. The printer can print up to 55 pages per minute, with added abilities for duplex printing at about 1200dpi, the printer costing $1,999 is compatible with both Mac and Windows and has an internal card slot, USB 2.0 connection and a gigabit Ethernet port
