The prosthetic world would definitely embrace the futuristic METIS concept, which is so techie that generations of humans cannot pass by. Designed by C.Darius Delaunay-Driquert, the METIS prosthetic arm concept connects with the nervous system and functions just like the usual arm for the amputee. It functions with 360-degree rotating ability like the fleshy arm itself and besides the other advanced technologies that go into the making, the prosthetic arm has a LCD display embedded that’ll remain connected to the internet over 3G and Wi-Fi. Rechargeable lithium-ion batteries will be used in the concept to power the electric elements of the prosthesis. Way to the future for the differently abled.
