LARA boards a plane, creates history

No, it isn’t some alien you see at the airport indeed it is the first Autonomous Robot to board a plane. LARA is a mere abbreviation for a Lego Autonomous Robotic Android that has been developed by a robotics team at Charles Milby High School from Houston. LARA created history by becoming the first autonomous android to get scrutinized at the airport security and then board a Continental Airlines commercial flight from Houston to Michigan. LARA was headed back to Michigan after she stood 5th in a Robofest which was an exhibition competition. The developers of LARA decided to get her a seat for FedEx damaged her the last time around. In future LARA would be used as an educational tool after it is trademarked and copywritten as an assembly kit.
