Some people are just too fond of touching their devices. Lest you misconstrue the sentence I’ll explain that the device in question is a laptop. It is quite simple—the rage these days is the touchscreen. Everyone wants one and is trying hard to get one. This much is clear by the touchscreen hacks that have hit the web over the past couple of days. One of these replaces the LCD of Acer Aspire One by a touch panel and the other metes the same treatment to MSI Wind. The good thing is that both the hacks have extensive DIY guides (one in Japanese) in case anyone wants to try his hand at one. But do so only if you have some prior experience at such stuff. Otherwise you might end up taking your machine back to the dealer for repairs.
