It seems that our flying car fantasy triggered by fiction is finally taking shape. Moller International’s M400 Skycar is already on offer and the LaBiche Aerospace FSC-1TM Flying Sports Car too will flaunt its glitter on July 24 at the EAA AirVenture Oshkosh 2006 airshow.
The LaBiche is a real treat for those who want to soar high in the sky with its sleek folding design and hair-raising speeds. The wings and rear propeller automatically vanish inside the car while you are busy setting the street on fire. The LaBiche flies at a mind-blowing speed of 275 mph. All do-it-yourself freaks would love to grab the build-it-yourself kit that costs $175,000; but when it comes to building it of our own, we would better settle down with our own ideas for less.

I loved going to airshows as a kid back in Michigan. The family would pile up and head to one part or another of the state to see all the awesome aircraft.
The Blue Angels and Thunderbirds were always my favorites. I found some video of a Thunderbird accident with one lucky pilot. You can find a ground shot and cockpit shot here:
