h2o bomb defusing moderator

Military researchers, Krasnoarmeisk Institute, have come up with an idea of a lifetime that may shape up a new face for ‘Army warfare techniques’! These developers boast of merging water molecules with a rasping substance to create a mixture, which is in turn ejected as a beam under ultra-high pressure.

With this groundbreaking practice, a one-centimeter thick steel shell can be cut within a fraction of a minute and that too, without a blast! They boast of it to even cut through the hardest substance on earth -Diamond, unbelievable!

This whole rig is fabricated by ‘Russian Space Agency’ and they intend to make their technique proverbial to the world soon.

Aleksandr Babintsev, Head of Automatic Systems Dept. at Krasnoarmeisk Research Institute opined that -

We create a model of the object so that we are able to maintain the distance between the object and the cutting jet.

Acting as a moderator in explosions, this newest technology allows possible neutralization of heavy explosives from secure distances. Researchers just need 27 liters of water and three kilos of abrasives to create this bomb defusing mixture.

The highly accelerated air-pressurized water spurt pierce through the bomb and thus acts like a bomb neutralizer. Another advantage that we have used water over conformist moderators is that H2O jet prevents the overheating.

‘Russiatoday’ excerpted the following -

Military scientists from the Moscow Region have developed a new technology that would make the job of field engineers much easier. A water-jet scalpel cuts steel within seconds to extract explosives from any bomb without causing a blast.
