Kokuyo Develops Mouse with Freaking Laser Beam, But what's the use?

Japanese Company, Kokuyo has developed a mouse that has a Freaking Laser Beam at its front end.

This is a normal wired mouse (or should I say a Weird Mouse) with a button just near to the scroll wheel that you can press to activate the Laser Beam.
Well, I don't think any great use for the mouse. What has the Laser beam to do with a Mouse... and that too a beam with a 25 meter range and no funny lenses that can at least make you laugh...?
I think this will be the worst innovation of Kokuyo who is known worldwide for some good products.
