kokoro heart sensor playlist by anaid gomez ortigoza thumb 550x550 18337

Your heartbeat is the best indicator of your mood, for it varies as per your feelings. The compatibility of your mood and the songs can thus be nailed by sensing your heartbeat. Anaid Gomez Ortigoza, a student at the Interactive Telecommunications Program at NYU, has put to use exactly the same connection by developing the Kokoro, a pouched device which functions as a heartbeat sensor. The Kokoro is a device that functions as a playlist generator for the iPod after sensing the heartbeat using a polar heart rate sensor.

Once the heartbeat is mapped, the signal is picked up by an electronic device which in turn uses software capable of selecting songs from your music collection. Just in case you do not agree to the choice, you can reject or skip the track on the click of a single button. I am not sure how many people would approve of this device, but for the moment, let us rejoice for the fact that someone has put in an effort to automatically parry music with our feelings.
