Koicycle: Pesky CDs put to a brilliant use
Posted By: Gagandeep Sharma | Oct 26 2007
AOL flooded the US homes with its CDs in late 1990s and early 2000s. Seeking to capture the market's attention with the (stupid) mass-marketing ploy, it is needless to say that AOL managed to generate a lot of annoyance in the market simultaneously. Since then, of course, the company has sunk into virtual oblivion and so has its notorious free CD-effort. But not before it has inspired some people to express their feelings in ingenious ways. True enough some of the one million odd copies that were distributed found their way to Matthew and he turned them into the creative Koicycle. The art bicycle designed in form of a fish has scales made out of AOL CDs. What a way to make the company recognize the annoyance of their gimmick.
