No other sport in the world is more “made-for-TV” than Formula One racing. But a Canadian company is hard at work trying to get you the thrill of watching a race from the comfort of your couch to the stands surrounding the racing circuits itself. Kangaroo TV is a small hand-held TV set that can beam you the live broadcast of the race while you see, smell and experience the thrill of F1 cars vrooming past your particular stand. Included earphones allow you to her the local announcer with more clarity than the loudspeaker system at the venue. You also get to select between various images being broadcast on its 3.5-inch screen and even listen in to the pit-to-driver communication if you fancy. Kangaroo TV is available for rent at $25- a day, $45 per weekend and $75 per competition, but since all 2000 units of the thing are rented out for the upcoming Monaco Grand Prix, you might be better advised to stay at home for that one!
