Japan Trust Technology (JTT) is popularly known for its CHOBI CAM series of ultra-small cameras. But yesterday, JTT has announced a new model called CHOBICAM1, which looks like a mini version of a DSLR camera. It is being considered to be the smallest ultra camera in the world.

The device measures 2.5×2.5×2.6cm and weighs just 12g featuring a built-in mono speaker. Users can shoot videos in 640×480 resolution in AVI format and take pictures in 1,600×1,200 resolution. It features a slot for placing microSD/SDHC cards (32GB max), which can be connected to your PC via USB 2.0. In the coming days the company is also planning to introduce a set of lenses for the camera. There would be doubts as to whether this mighty mini camera can outperform other cameras, but it can definitely be carried anywhere without much headache.
The CHOBICAM1 prices at $120 in Japan and you can ask Geek Stuff 4 U about acquiring one such camera.
