Continuous practice and hard work makes a person perfect in his/her specific art, but passion for ones work encourages the guy to create something extraordinary and out of this world. ‘Jimi’s Nightmare,’ the first carving in Bruce’s series of distorted guitars, belongs to the similar class of arts that take off straight form the heart, and a bit innovation and insight, to add finesse and magnetism. The electric guitar is an authentic, if not perfect, piece of sculpture. Sharp curves and sleek glossy finish makes it unique in its own way, a tribute to Picasso’s decomposed instrument paintings. The guitar was specially finished for The Zimmer Children’s Museum in Los Angeles and unveiled at ‘Show & Tell: The Art of Harmony.’
