Jens of Sweden has rejuvenated out of the ashes with their new MP-500 media player which they claim is ’smaller and shorter than a credit card and thinner than a box of matches’, but I doubt it’ll be able to take over the iPod Nano.
Packed in a scratchproof shell the player boasts of audio, video, FM, voice recorder, built-in speakers, and 1.6′ color TFT LCD. Available in 1GB ($189) and 2GB ($242) versions the black or gold ($274) flash player supports MP3, WMA, OGG, and MP4 WMV, AVI, ASF, MPG, MPEG. Weighing 51 grams, the 81 x 40 x 13 mm MP-500 gives 15.5 hours of audio life and 8 hours of video life. You can grab one in February.
