JCV has upgraded its HDTVs to include a dock for the popular iPod. Four full sized HDTVs from the lineup will be capable to integrate with the iPod as if the TV was a native device. This allows the user to access all media on the iPod, and the HDTV pops up a special menu to control the iPod via a remote. Videos can be fine-tuned and the user can decide to expand them to screen size or view them in a special ’small mode’ that plays the clip in the same resolution as the source.
All models of the P-series (except the 32-inch model) also include USB connectivity to view images from digital cameras or flash drives. Models of this range will be released in a cascaded order with the 32-inch and 42-inch screens reaching shops in March, followed by the 47-inch in April and the 52-inch LCD in summer. Prices have not been announced yet.
