Japanese Lady Bird cleans public restrooms
How filthy and smelly a public restroom is! We all know it very well. Don't forget that it belongs to the public, I mean to all. In any case, we should not consider it like a dumpster. It is the duty of every people to keep it neat and clean. However, it's natural that you may feel disgusting when asked to clean a restroom. That's why Japanese have engaged Lady Birds to clean the restrooms.

Fitted with water tanks, brushes and other necessary tools, the ladybug-shaped robot cleans restrooms satisfactorily. It does not disturb others while cleaning the dirty rooms.
Designed by a group of Japanese companies, the Lady Bird is about one meter tall and 1.35 meter long. It has obstacle detection sensors that enable the device to clean the restrooms safely and satisfactorily.
The Lady Bird does not only clean the restrooms but also leads light conversation to the restroom users due to the microphones, speech recognition capabilities and voice synthesizer. It is not all. The Lady Bird can also provide you updated report about the traffic conditions on nearby roads.
The high profile robot is in its developmental stage. It will be available by March 2009 for nearly $3000.
