Japan to show a mammoth 60-foot Gundam dressed to kill

Gundam’s back to invade the Japanese territory, much bigger, better and more lethal this time. Standing at 60 feet high, the Gundam statue erected by Bandai and created by genius designer Yoshiyuki Tomino, is stationed at East Shizuoka Square in Shizuoka City where the public can see it beginning July 24 2010 through January 10, 2011. If you’re there to see it someday, just mind the giants beam saber, which glows at night. Hit the jump to see a few more images and a video.
