Japan to run green trains by 2007

In this age of horrific global warming, pollution and climate change going green is the only solution one can think of. Who but Japan, one of the most industrialized nations to lead the way.

The Fuji Sankei Business magazine recently ran an article about the upcoming 'NE Train' project. To complement the busy rail network the government of Japan has been heavily researching to invent non-polluting energy powered trains for the past 3 years. Finally they have completed their research so by 2007, Japan will run a fuel cell powered train that uses 65kW fuel cells to get to a speed of 65km/h.
