wireless power transmissionIntel’s demonstration of wireless power technology directed to help us achieve wireless battery chargers and the like, has been highly acclaimed and now with time, it’s Showa Aircraft Industry’s (Japan) opportunity to gather some praise for having developed a wireless power supply system that too hints of the same future.

The developed system exhibited at the AT International 2009, like electromagnetic induction can efficiently supply electric power across two, primary and secondary, coils placed up to a meter apart from each other. If the developers to be are believed, the system can transmit power to about 60cm with 90% efficiency, but for the lags the system records displacement in a horizontal direction and heat generation in case of invasion of a foreign substance.
