High storage SATA HDD’s are still out of reach for many people though the prices have come down quiet significantly.

Now a group of Japanese, American manufacturers are gearing up for the launch of a portable HDD called iVDR of the dimensions of 3.2-inch x 0.5-inch and 4.3-inch which will be made of plastic and will be shock resistant.

This is how they defined the use of this HDD plug it in laptop take it out plug it with TV and then when bored even plug it with your music system.

This HDD promises the data transfer speeds of up to 3GB/s with storage capacity of up to 80 to 160 GB.

Touted as being ultra portable if this device makes it to market it will truly revolutionize the way people carry data.
