The concept of video glasses isn’t new. If you think it is, then you must have been sleeping in the last decade. Jokes apart, we all love our space in the living room, but the aspect of personal viewing comes only with the video glasses, else you need those sneaky corners in the house. Therefore, a befitting entrant to enhance our personal TV viewing experience is the iTVGoggles.

The goggles, available in two models, have two LCD screen embedded into them, which appear as one 50 inch or 80 inch large screens (as per the model of course), presenting the user a virtually large screen for a personal theater-type feel. The larger 80-inch virtual screen model is better off with 3D video support, stereo ear buds and 4-5 hours of battery backup.

iTVGoggles are made compatible with anything from DVD players, to iPods, to music players, to TVs and game consoles. Priced at $180 and $310 for 50- and 80-inch models respectively, I guess it’s a great year beginning gift… if there is any you’d like?
