Flexible Displays are the need of the next generation. Displays that you can fold and keep in your pocket and once they are affordable you can also create video business cards on these to impress your clients.
Till now they are not affordable but once more and more companies start to manufacture these hi-end displays their cost is bound to get reduced. For now the Taiwan’s Industrial Technology Research Institute (ITRI) has developed these flexible displays in many versions.
The collection consists of a 7” color flexible active matrix LCD display, a 10.4” bistable name card with a flexible Ch-LC display fir meeting use.
Both the displays use different technologies, but both of them offer dynamic performance that will please anyone who uses them. Let them be somewhat cheaper than they are now and we really will see them at all places. Guys think about some non conventional uses of these displays and tell us what you think…!
