Taiwan-based Industrial Technology Research Institute (ITRI) has displayed a flexible 10.4 inch display device. The color cholesteric LCD measures a thickness of just 10mm and width 3.5 inch.
Made from plastic substrate elements, the display device is capable of reproducing 57 percent of NTSC color gamut. It also comes with a flexible backlight that supports the display device. The LCD is useful for large-size public displays.
ITRI has neither revealed the release date nor the price of the device. So, we have no option but to wait a bit more.
