Israel bans use of Apple iPad in the country

We find Apple iPad isn’t the same phenomenon just everywhere outside the US. Okay, it’s nothing to do with US-Israel political relations, but because Israel’s engineering department couldn’t find a consensus on a means to test the iPad's compatibility with their wireless networks, the Israeli Communications Ministry has ordered to confiscate all Apple iPads from overseas travelers’ et al, to prevent approving its use in the Country. The iPad operates at broadcast power levels over Wi-Fi, which have different standards in the US and Europe. Israel has lower power broadcast over Wi-Fi, similar to European standards; therefore it has banned the use of iPad in its territory.
